Pedro Pascal Admits To Being Drunk During Awesome Awards Speech
Nobody can ever accuse Pedro Pascal of not being a very honest guy.
Pascal earned the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series Award during the SAG Awards for his epic performance as Joel in "The Last of Us."
The HBO series took entertainment by storm in 2023, and was easily one of the best shows of the year. It was excellent, in large part because of Pascal's performance, and he earned the recognition he definitely deserves.
How did he react? By admitting he might have hit the alcohol just a bit too hard!
Pedro Pascal says he's drunk during SAG Awards speech.
"This is wrong for a number of reasons. I'm a little drunk. I thought I could get drunk. Thank you, HBO! Oh, geez Louise, I'm making a fool of myself," Pascal told the crowd Saturday night.
Nothing like admitting you're buzzed to amp up the crowd and get people talking. Watch the funny moment unfold below, and let me know your reactions at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
Honestly, I love everything about this moment from Pascal. Award shows are notoriously pretentious and stuffy. They seem like an absolutely awful time.
If you're going to go, you might as well get lit. What's the purpose of being sober in a setting where most people are probably pretty miserable.
Crack open some beers and let the alcohol flow to lubricate the tracks for a good time. That's exactly what Pascal did, and then he found himself giving a speech.
Don't even pretend to be sober. Lean into it and let it roll.

Seriously, I might have to steal the line, "I'm a little drunk. I thought I could get drunk" next time I get scolded by the lady. It's simple and straight to the point. Never change, Pedro. Never change! Let me know what you think at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
