Paige VanZant Proves Her Pimp Hand Is Strong As She Wins Her Power Slap Debut

Paige VanZant is finally back in the win column.  The former UFC fighter turned OnlyFans star had lost two BKFC fights and fought an influencer to a draw in a boxing match before making her Power Slap debut on Friday night.

She took the fight at Power Slap 8 on short notice against former MMA fighter Christine Wolmarans and after three rounds of exchanging slaps with her opponent, she took home a unanimous decision.

VanZant even took an extra slap for flinching and didn’t appear to be fazed at all by any of the shots.  The same could not be said for VanZant's opponent.

She had Wolmarans drop to a knee on two occasions after a couple of huge slaps.  While VanZant wanted the knockout and came close to securing one, she settled for a 30-25 unanimous victory in her debut.

Paige VanZant And Power Slap Could Be A Match Made In Combat Sports Heaven

VanZant enjoyed the insanity of eating free shots to the face and putting her pimp hand to the test.  After the fight, she made it clear that she expects to return for more Power Slap fights.

"Of course, I wanted to knock her out with the first slap," VanZant told OutKick's own Charly Arnolt during her post-fight interview.  "But I'm so happy that it went the way it did.  I knew I could take a punch.  I knew I could take a slap… That was really fun."

When asked what's next for her as far as Power Slap is concerned, VanZant said, "Honestly, this is too much fun to walk away from.  That was so awesome.  I told everybody I’m a gangster.  I keep the pimp hand strong… I got a strong pimp hand."

Indeed, it appears as if VanZant does in fact have a strong pimp hand.  So is her chin.  She ate slap after slap and even a fourth slap for her one mistake of flinching before one of the slaps.

Count me among those who were surprised by her performance.  I expected her to be knocked out after she was dropped by an influencer in the boxing ring.

Has Paige VanZant finally found her combat sport?  We shall see.  Sheena "The Hungarian Hurricane" Bathory and her BBL might have something to say about that.
