OutKick Woke All-Stars Rovell & Olbermann Go To War
There's nothing sweeter on a random Wednesday in October than two former Woke All-Star Challenge contestants entering into a blue checkmark nerd cage match that started over journalism ethics. In one corner, we have wacko Keith Olbermann. In the other, we have brand shill, coronabro Darren Rovell.
FIGHT!
All of this started as Darren 'Big J' Rovell tweeted out how all journalists send stories to sources, like Adam Schefter did to Redskins executive Bruce Allen (and then called him "Mr. Editor"), and it's pretty common practice.
That did not go over very well with the blue checkmark brigade, and wacko Olbermann jumped into the fray because he doesn't have much going on besides nerding out on the baseball playoffs and making whacked-out videos of himself getting a booster shot.
Since he's not busy, Keith had time to put together the first significant salvo in this war. FIRE IN THE HOLE!
Well done! Great keywords. "Stupid" was a nice touch. Big time kill shot.
However, this isn't D's first rodeo on the mean streets of Twitter. He's been bogged down in battle like he's been dropped into the middle of a Syrian shithole. Big Daddy Darren has plenty of gunpowder he's been saving up over the years and BOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM...HE CAME AT OLBERMANN WITH A 2006 story on Alex Gordon error cards and how Olbermann was buying up all the cards.
HOLY S--T! ROVELL BROUGHT THE RECEIPTS.
Except the story that Rovell published back in 2006 never mentions Olbermann. You want to talk about the biggest nerd-on-nerd fight you'll ever see, this is it. We're talking about two idiots who didn't want you to leave your house for two years and thought the bogeyman 'VID virus was going to come to life off the side of a Totino's pizza rolls bag and kill people.
At the end of the day, Rovell got the social media engagement his penis needs to get rock hard and Olbermann let go of some of that anger that is inside his body 24/7. It was a solid day as both of these Woke challengers build up their resumes for the 2022 challenge.
