Osama Bin Laden's Brother Lists Abandoned Bel Air Mansion For $28 Million

It's quite a fixer-upper, but just imagine the conversation starter it would be to own the Bel Air mansion that was abandoned by Ibrahim bin Laden, one of Osama bin Laden's brothers, who reportedly skipped town 20 years ago after 9/11 and left the property to decay. It's all yours for $28,000,000, if you're willing to move to California and put in some elbow grease.

As for the condition of the property, you've been warned by Realtor Florence Mattar who is handling the listing. "Owner has not been here for over 20 years," the sale listing states.

Located a "few doors from the Bel Air Hotel," bin Laden's brother abandoned one of the hottest pieces of property in a blue checkmark paradise where lib libs can "walk to the hotel for breakfast or dinner," Florence notes in the property details.

Ibrahim bin Laden reportedly was vacationing abroad on September 11, 2001, and never returned to the U.S. He eventually rented out the property, and it eventually was used to shoot porn movies, including Educating Alli, which featured adult star Alektra Blue.

Ibrahim bin Laden was one of 56 children credited to Osama's father, Mohammed bin Awad bin Laden, who is noted for having 22 wives. However, Mohammed wasn't a total womanizer. He's said to have limited his wives to four at a time and he divorced others when it was time to add new blood. The story goes that Mohammed was on his way to marry a 23rd wife when the plane he was flying on crashed in 1967.

As for the house, it's a seven-bedroom, five-bath compound spread out over 7,106 sq. ft. situated on a hillside that looks kinda like the areas where Osama used to hide out before moving to his suburban compound in Pakistan.
