Orlando Airport Will Now Allow People To Shop, Eat, Visit Without A Ticket
The Orlando airport is welcoming all psychopaths and weirdos by offering a new pass that allows anyone to visit Terminal C - even if you don't have a ticket.
That's right. People can now take a day trip to the Orlando frickin' airport of all places if they want to grab a bite to eat, shop, or just people watch.
The best part? You STILL have to go through airport security!
That's a heck of a lot of a headache just to buy an overpriced $18 mimosa at a crowded airport bar.
ORLANDO AIRPORT'S TERMINAL C IS ROLLING OUT THE PROGRAM
In an announcement video posted on their social media, Orlando International Airport (called MCO for some reason) attempted to state its case for why it should be Floridians' local hang.
They brag that the new program's "Experience MCO" gate pass will allow people to "spend the entire day in Terminal C," where they will be able to "enjoy delicious local flavors, check out immersive art, and shop items!"
What's next - the DMV offering people a chance to come hang as well?
THIS SOUNDS LIKE A PUNISHMENT
The video then cuts to various stores that people can experience - including the Disney Store, a Universal Studios one, and Chipotle! Ya know, because it's not like there aren't already a THOUSAND different Disney stores in Orlando, which is the home of Walt Disney World.
And as far as their "immersive art" claim? Yeah, if I'm that interested in art I'll go to a damn art museum or exhibit somewhere. But what about the super-duper, immersive digital screen the airport has that allows kids to play games?
I'm sure an arcade will suffice just fine.
Reality check - if anyone actually has a desire to go to an airport when they don't have a flight, you should probably talk to someone.
Have you ever heard of a mall?
