Food At The Olympics Is Pretty Expensive, Beer Options Are Infuriating

Food at the Olympics in Paris certainly isn't cheap.

The opening ceremony for the games is Friday, and fans from all over the world will descend on France to soak up all the action.

It's an opportunity for people from different backgrounds to get together and celebrate sports. Naturally, people are going to want to enjoy some food and a couple of drinks.

They had better bring a lot of cash.

Olympic food prices are very expensive.

The Sun captured a look at the menu at a food stand at the Olympics, and the prices might be a bit of a shock to some people. A simple hot dog is more than $10, a cheeseburger is nearly $12, an egg muffin will run you around $8.68 and I have bad news for people hoping to buy a beer:

There isn't any.

There are a couple non-alcoholic beer options, but it will cost $8.68. That's a lot of money for a beer that doesn't even include alcohol.

The only really cheap options are small chips, popcorn or a cookie, which can all be purchased for under $50. Large chips cost more than $8.

The food better be amazing if I'm paying more than $10 for simple stuff at a concessions stand. Ten dollars for a hot dog? It better be the most amazing hot dog ever made.

The non-alcoholic beer price is just wild. Who the hell is paying around $9 for a beer that doesn't even include alcohol? That is a massive waste of money.

If I'm drinking beer, there better be alcohol in it or don't even offer it as an option.
