Olivia Dunne Washes Up On A Florida Beach In Her Bikini After A Forgettable 12 Seconds At The Kentucky Derby

If you ask some, Olivia Dunne was part of the problem at Churchill Downs over the weekend. She was one of the many influencers who popped up at the Kentucky Derby and its related events, got dressed up and broke out an oversized hat.

Other than a forgettable 12 seconds giving the ceremonial "Riders Up" command, used to tell jockeys to take their mount, at the Kentucky Oaks, she had a solid weekend of content.

Did Livvy violate the Kentucky Derby dress code? I'm sure she did. The fashion police and self-appointed protectors of derby integrity had to have hated her tan lines. But most of the heat in that department was sent in fellow influencer Gabriela Moura's direction.

The retired gymnast didn’t have to defend her outfit choice the way the TikTok star was forced to do. Her comment section was more focused on the "Riders Up" swing and miss.

Livvy, to her credit, did offer up an explanation as to what happened. She said in response to one of the comments about what some called stupid publicity, "I couldn’t hear myself because of the echo of the microphone."

Livvy Dunne bounced back from a rough 12 seconds by hitting a content home run on a Florida beach

That's a reasonable excuse for the odd watch and what the organizers at the Kentucky Oaks likely thought was an easy home run.

Like any good influencer, Olivia Dunne has a short memory. She put the bad plate appearance behind her and then had, as you can see above, a strong finish at Churchill Downs.

Then it was onto the beach in Florida, where she washed up in a bikini on Sunday.

That's how you get your retirement from gymnastics back on track right there. You get back to the basics. Back to where you're comfortable and can easily put up numbers.

Livvy swung and missed on the road. She stepped back up to the plate with runners on, doubled in the gap and drove a few in to get some confidence back before the road trip ended.

She then made her way to the beach, made the most of the field advantage by breaking out the long ball before calling it a weekend. That's a hall of fame-worthy approach.
