Oakland Demands 102-Year-Old Man In Wheelchair To Clean Graffiti

Not only do Oakland Athletics fans have to deal with a team that hates them, but they also have to accept an out-of-control government that is hell-bent on making citizens' lives as difficult as they can, regardless of age.

Case in point; a 102-year-old man was threatened with a $1,100 fine if he didn't paint over graffiti that some vandals spray-painted across his fence. And if he refused to do so, he would continue to be fined $1,200 during each follow-up inspection.

Oh, and the guy is in a WHEELCHAIR.

OAKLAND HAS VOTED DEMOCRAT SINCE 1977

You'd think the lovely city of Oakland would show him some mercy, or maybe go after the vandals that continue to reek havoc up and down the streets.

102-year-old Victor Silva Sr. says that he has routinely painted over graffiti that has been spray-painted on his backyard fence throughout the 80+ years he's lived in his house. However, in recent months he has had difficulty keeping up with the manual labor because father time is catching up with him. But the city of Oakland doesn't care - they'd rather Victor's final years be cleaning up THEIR mess, because the city is so incompetent as crime continues to rise.

The cleanup has now fell on Victor's 70-year-old son, who said that the city continues to threaten the family with multiple fines if the fence doesn't remain pearly white.

FOCUS ON WHAT MATTERS

"It's hard to keep up with it because as soon as we get it painted it's bound to get graffiti on it," the son told a local FOX affiliate. In one instance, he says that he caught people vandalizing his family's business but when he called Oakland's 911 system, he was placed on hold.

Wow, Oakland is doing worse than I thought! Imagine calling 911, and you're put on hold in an emergency?!

"They can't answer 911, but they can take the time out and come harass you about your house?" Victor asked. "It's hard to understand where our tax dollars are going."

Oakland, by the way, has had a Democratic Mayor since 1977.

Oh, and they also have pirates in their bay.

Oakland's slogan is ironically "Oakland: Love Life," based on the city's "commitment to embody love as our guiding principle."

If this is what they consider love, I'd rather be single.
