O.J. Simpson Questions NFL Players 'Dogging Teams That Beat Them'
Love him, hate him, don't care about him, when O.J. Simpson talks, people still tend to listen.
The former NFL running back has over 900,000 Twitter followers, and he's been known for making some outlandish comments about the game, fantasy football, and about players in today's game that he admires.
Simpson is back. He put out a two-minute video on Twitter talking about the six NFL games this past weekend and the CFP national title game. He also addressed a rather interesting topic - teams losing gracefully.
"I see these guys dogging teams that beat them now. I just don't understand it," Simpson said.
"If you can't respect the team that just kicked your butt, and you gave maximum effort, well, you're not showing much respect for yourself."
The game that Simpson is obviously referring to is the Browns' beat down of the Steelers in Heinz Field Sunday night, a game in which Cleveland took advantage of a bunch of Steelers mistakes to build a 28-0 lead in the first half.
Simpson never fails to make headlines with his comments, and for someone who has such a controversial past, it's interesting to hear him talk about "showing respect" and putting forth "maximum effort."
