NBC To Debut New Show About Bi-Sexual Lions, Gay Penguins, Pansexual Primates And Trans Animals
American brands all across the nation trip all over their own feet during Pride Month.
Brands like Pfizer plaster rainbow colors over their social media avatars in the U.S., but hide their support in nations where homosexuality is legally punishable, like Saudi Arabia.
Retailers like Target try to monetize ill and confused children by selling them creepy "tuck-friendly" swimwear.
And though it's only May 17, NBC is the odds-on favorite to take home the "trying too hard to prove they support the LGBTQ community" crown next month.
On Thursday, the network announced it would "kick off Pride Month" by debuting a new nature documentary celebrating "gay" animals, called "Queer Planet."
A press release for the new series promotes the celebration of "gay penguins," "flamboyant flamingos," "pansexual primates," "bi-sexual lions," "sex-changing clownfish" and "everything in between."
Where the hell is the representation of nonbinary bears?

No wonder satire struggles to keep pace with reality in 2024: reality is funnier than satire. Transgender animals would've been too far-fetched of a topic even for The Babylon Bee.
Yet, here we are.
It's unclear if there is an official Hierarchy of Victimhood for animals. There is for humans. Transgender persons sit atop. Straight white Christian men sit at the bottom, almost buried beneath the pyramid.
In the trailer, actor and show host Andrew Rannells claims the existence of "queer" animals shows how "just two sexes is clearly out of style."
"Nature is full of queer surprises. To be honest, we should all probably get laid a little more than we do," he adds.
"We’ve all heard of gay penguins, but this film really opened my eyes to the full spectrum of LGBTQ+ behaviors across the natural world. And what could be more natural than being who you are?
"I’m excited to be part of ‘Queer Planet,’ especially during Pride Month, and on Peacock, surely the most colorful and glamorous of all the streaming services."
