MSNBC Viewership Continues To Tank Post-Biden Debate

Democrat voters are so fed up that they aren't even seeking propaganda to feel better. Proof: the ratings for MSNBC.

The network averaged only 569,000 total day viewers from July 1-7, its smallest weekly audience of 2024. MSNBC also saw a 2024-low of just 56,000 viewers in the advertiser-coveted demographic of adults aged 25-54.

For reference, MSNBC averaged 810,000 total viewers during the second quarter of 2024, compared to 1.3 million for Fox News and 618,000 for CNN. 

The drop coincides with calls for Joe Biden to drop out of the race following a debate performance so bad that not even MSNBC could spin the news positively.

"It was hard to hear what he was saying because his voice was so weak and his halting delivery in his first couple of answers has got to have put a shock into the campaign," Rachel Maddow said the night of the debate.

"You can't change a candidate, but you can – I mean, there were people talking about how that process works, and that conversation is live and active at the highest levels of the Democratic Party," added Nicolle Wallace during the network's post-debate coverage.

MSNBC's coverage of Biden has softened some since the debate, realizing the options are likely with him or Kamala Harris. MSNBC had initially pushed governors like Gavin Newsom (California), Gretchen Whitmer (Michigan), and Josh Shapiro (Pennsylvania), seemingly not understanding that Biden's $200 million war chest could only be transferred to Harris.

Further, the ratings last week signaled to MSNBC that its viewers do not want to hear the truth about Biden. They prefer wall-to-wall "Trump is Hitler" programming.

A balding Joy Reid gave viewers what they wanted over the weekend:

"Just let me know when you guys are finished figuring it out, Democrats. Then let me know who I got to vote for to keep Hitler out of the White House … If it’s Biden in a coma, I’m going to vote for Biden in a coma. I don’t even really, in particular, like the guy. A lot of his policies? Don’t like them, [but] he’s not Donald Trump," a deranged Reid said on TikTok.

"Yeah, Hitler, White House, we’re keeping him out."

More of that is out the way.

Though Clay Travis isn't so sure it will help the matter. "MSNBC voters are in depression, not watching after Biden’s debate tank job," he posted on X.

In addition to the border, economy, and safety of Americans – add MSNBC to the list of things Joe Biden destroyed.
