Moose Charge Tourists In Wild Video

A group of tourists got the scare of a lifetime during a trip to Yellowstone National Park.

As OutKick readers know, the animal thunderdome doesn't play games. The animals and creatures in nature aren't your friend.

Many will tear humans limb to limb for a quick afternoon snack. While that didn't happen here, tourists got a blunt reminder that animals don't enjoy their space being invaded.

Moose charge tourists in Yellowstone.

The popular Instagram page @touronsofyellowstone shared a video of two moose deciding to charge through a group of Yellowstone tourists.

To be fair, the tourists weren't very close to begin with, but it didn't matter. The moose weren't happy and decided to take off running towards them.

Check out the wild video below, and hit me with your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.

As you'd expect, the comments had plenty to say. Check out a few of the reactions below.

  • They think they're in a petting zoo or something?
  • This must be so confusing to the moose! "I’m big! You’re small! Why don’t you just… run away?!?!???"
  • Although there are signs posted and of course common sense says clearly we are in their domain, they have no desire to meet you, leave the animals alone. Respect nature and just admire, why is that so hard to comprehend.
  • I hear someone saying get ‘em and I’m cracking up.
  • "Get 'em! Get 'em" Who else is disappointed that the moose didn't "get 'em"?
  • Dumb actions dumb outcomes

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Leave animals in nature alone. They have no interest in being your friend, and they definitely don't want to be messed with.

It seems like common sense. Yet, we have a never-ending stream of videos of people doing dumb stuff while out in nature. Again, these people were a solid distance away, but they were still on the moose's turf. The wild animals always have home field advantage, and that's bad news for anyone near them.

Trust me, getting destroyed by a massive animal isn't worth it just so you can snap a quick picture for Instagram.

Keep your head on a swivel whenever out in nature. Let me know your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
