Michael Strahan's Daughter Announces She's Cancer-Free

Some feel-good news this morning as Michael Strahan's daughter Isabella has announced that she's cancer-free.

"Everything was clear. Cancer-free and everything is great. I don’t have another doctor’s appointment until October," Isabella gleefully and gratefully told her followers in a new YouTube vlog documenting her cancer battle while also thanking her doctors, medical staff and her supporters for their prayers.

MICHAEL STRAHAN TOOK TIME OFF TO HELP WITH DAUGHTER'S CANCER BATTLE

The 19-year-old college student underwent emergency surgery last year after being diagnosed with medulloblastoma, which is a type of brain tumor. Her condition became more publicly known as the media began wondering where her Hall of Fame football father, as well as ABC's Good Morning America host Michael Strahan was after he began taking more time away from being in front of the television cameras. Initially, Strahan's team said that he was taking time off for a personal matter, which eventually led to Isabella's diagnosis being revealed as both father and daughter talked about the frightening fight that the USC student had in front of her during a GMA special.

Fortunately, it appears everything went to the doctors' plans as, after four bouts of radiation, Isabella rang the cancer-free bell last month and follow-up visits showed that it had not returned. This past week, doctors took the final step of removing the IV port in her body that was used for the cancer treatments.

"You are a SUPERWOMAN! Ringing that bell finishing chemo and on your way!" iMichael Strahan wrote on his Instagram page. Isabella will return to USC for her upcoming fall semester.
