SAS Operator Explains Intense Hunt For War Criminals

Melvyn Downes and his teammates spent a lot of time hunting some of the most wanted men on the planet.

Melvyn recently joined me on American Joyride to discuss his time in the British SAS. For those of you who don't know, the SAS is England's version of Delta Force. It's a Tier One counter-terrorism unit that is shrouded in secrecy.

Following the Bosnian genocide in the 1990s committed by Bosnian Serbs against Bosniaks, Delta Force, the SAS and other black ops elements were sent into the region to capture the Bosnian Serb leaders responsible for the killing. Downes was among those who was sent in to find those charged with war crimes. While the details about the hunt for PIFWCs still remains highly secret, Downes was able to discuss it a little bit, and his comments are worth checking out if you love history.

You can watch him break it all down in the video below starting around the 50-minute mark, and send your thoughts to David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
