Trailer For New Horror Movie Promises Plenty Of Blood

A new trailer is out for "MaXXXine."

The film is the third chapter in the very popular horror saga from Ti West. While the previous two films - "X" and "Pearl" - weren't huge at the box office, both grew in popularity after their releases. It's fair to say both movies from West with Mia Goth have grown a cult following in the horror genre. That usually happens for older movies. It happened much sooner with "X" and "Pearl."

For those of you who don't know, the first movie follows a group of people looking to make an adult film on a small farm. Things quickly take a dark turn, and "Pearl" - the second film in the saga - acts as a prequel that explains the backstory.

Second trailer released for "MaXXXine" with Mia Goth.

Now, "MaXXXine" will arrive as part three in the tale of Maxine. The plot is described as, "In 1980s Hollywood, adult film star and aspiring actress Maxine Minx finally gets her big break. But as a mysterious killer stalks the starlets of Hollywood, a trail of blood threatens to reveal her sinister past."

If that's not enough to grab your attention, I'm willing to bet the trailer will. Give it a watch below, and let me know your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.

This movie looks like it's going to be a great horror flick. Goth is great and Kevin Bacon being in the mix is awesome. The younger generation might not be too familiar with Bacon's work, but the man is a legit talent.

Plus, there's a proven track record of success when it comes to the first two films. Again, neither was a monster box office hit, but both blew up in the time that followed their original releases.

Now, Ti West is going back to the well for another installment that features the infamous Night Stalker killer. For those of you who don't know who the Night Stalker was, get on Google and search Richard Ramirez. There's enough reading there to keep you busy for the next week.

How will the very real killer factor into a fictional horror movie? I have no idea, but I can't wait to find out when "MaXXXine" hits theaters July 5. Let me know your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com
