"Masters of the Air" is officially over, and it was simply an incredible ride.

The hit Apple TV+ WWII series about American bomber crews hammering the Nazis in Europe has been the best show of the year so far.

Every single episode was a harrowing and dark reminder of the sacrifices WWII heroes had to make in order to free the world from the evil of the Axis Powers.

Whether it was brutal death scenes or moments in a POW camp, "Masters of the Air" grabbed viewers and refused to let go.

It's been a hell of a ride since the first episode aired, and I'm glad we got to share this journey together here at OutKick.
