Martin Lawrence Needed Help Walking By Will Smith As Fans Concerned About Health

Fans are voicing their concerns about actor Martin Lawrence after the 59-year-old needed help walking from Bad Boys co-star Will Smith this past weekend.

During an appearance in Brazil in which the two popular costars were promoting the fourth installment of the action-packed Bad Boys movie franchise, Smith could be seen holding onto Lawrence's hand as the two made their way onto a rooftop for a promotional event. When Will Smith lets go of Lawrence's hand, he begins to try and dance a bit, but fans noticed that something appeared off.

MARTIN LAWRENCE'S 1999 STROKE PUT HIM IN A COMA

Video of the scene has since gone viral as Lawrence was slowly moving and appeared to not be able to move the right side of his body. Some likened it to Martin Lawrence perhaps being intoxicated, while others speculated that it almost appeared like there was a neurological issue on the right side of the actor's body. When one looks closer at the video, you can see that Martin isn't moving his right arm and that it remains almost locked in a position during his slow movements.

The video was the latest of a number of concerning press events where Lawrence seemed a bit out of it, as seen here, with some fans even sending him their best wishes:

MARTIN LAWRENCE APPEARED TO NEED HELP FROM WILL SMITH

Fans were understandably concerned about Lawrence due to his past health issues. In 1999, Lawrence suffered a debilitating heat stroke that put him in a coma for three days, although he had made a full recovery and was able to act in various movies for the next 15 years.

During an appearance on radio station HOT 97 earlier this week, however, Lawrence was asked about his health, and he wanted to reassure fans that he was alright and there shouldn't be any concern.

"I'm fine. I’m in God’s hands. I’m blessed. I’m glad to be waking up every day. I’m all good. No need for people to be concerned," the actor said. He then passed off the video as he was just nervous in front of the large crowd.

Martin's response does appear to be a little awkward as Will Smith interjects and tries to defuse the tense topic, with fans noticing that Martin's right side of his face doesn't seem to be as mobile.

Obviously, with such an iconic career, everyone is hoping for the best for Lawrence - who has graced the screen not only for all four Bad Boys installments, but also movies like Blue Streak, Nothing to Lose and, of course, during his 5-year run on FOX's Martin sitcom.

Bad Boys 4: Ride or Die is in select theaters now, with a worldwide opening this coming Friday.
