Mark Cuban Supports Joe Biden, Blames His Horrendous Debate Performance On Donald Trump

Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban might be the only one who thinks that President Joe Biden is still fit for office after last night’s debate.

The commander-in-chief was a total train wreck during last night’s debate with Republican nominee Donald Trump, and his inability to form coherent sentences was a profound contrast to Trump’s responses. The only positives to come from the debate were the goldmine of memes

However, Cuban decided to make a thoroughly ridiculous - and lengthy - argument to defend Biden.

Continuing a conversation he had with Piers Morgan on X, the billionaire blamed the president’s inability to answer on Trump, a classic move among progressives.

"The reality is Joe wasn’t capable last night of debating someone who only lies.  He doesn’t have the energy or ability to shout him down, hold him accountable and laugh at Trump’s responses," Cuban said (his full tweet is here). "Joe could have held his own against a candidate that actually can discuss policy.  But that wasn’t the challenge last night and Joe wasn’t prepared or capable of  dealing with Donald and his style."

This line of defense is a huge reach at best. Trump doesn’t only lie, when he speaks, he actually has told the truth on many issues in the past. Plus, if being around a liar is really that troublesome for Biden, he couldn’t afford to spend time with himself, since he’s a flaming liar.

But Cuban continued his insane defense by saying that this was the first time in Biden’s presidency that we’ve ever seen him act incompetent.

"He answered the questions he was asked, even if the presentation was underwhelming," Cuban said (gee, ya think?!). "And we have the last 3 plus years and of his being  POTUS with out his getting laughed or smirked at, no tell-alls or leaks discussing his incompetence. No former advisors or cabinet members  saying they won’t vote for him."

Of course, no one in his cabinet would say he’s incompetent. They don’t need to, because he’s shown that himself! Whether it’s him tripping at an Air Force graduation ceremony, falling off his bicycle, or one of the countless interviews where he’s fumbled over his own words, we can all tell Biden isn’t fully capable of being in office.

Nevertheless, Cuban said he’d still vote for Biden once November rolls around.

"I’m still voting for Biden, the ethical candidate who unquestionably stands by his oath and puts country over self interest," Cuban said (he called Biden an ethical candidate several times in the tweet).

I would spend some time analyzing how thoroughly idiotic this last paragraph is. But hey, it’s Friday night, and the weekend is almost here, I don’t want to spend tons of mental energy engaging with stupidity.

So what I’ll say is this: if you’ve been following politics even moderately closely for the past few years, you’ll know that "ethical" is the last word anyone should use to describe Joe Biden.

But Cuban doesn’t care, because he will do anything he can to avoid supporting Donald Trump.
