Man Cancels His Honeymoon After He Says His Wife Cheated On Him With Her Maid Of Honor At Their Wedding

A couple's happily ever after got off to a rough start after the bride celebrated tying the knot by having too much to drink at the reception.  According to her husband, she then went on to cheat on him with her maid of honor on the dance floor.

The man responded to his wife's actions by canceling their honeymoon and strongly considering divorce. That seems like a bit of an overreaction if you ask me, but I'm willing to hear him out before passing any kind of judgment.  So let's see what he has to say.

Prior to storming out of the reception after catching his wife, Sararh, in the act, the 24-year-old says that he's been in a relationship with her for four years.  During that time, he's noticed that while she only drinks once a week, she often has too much and ends up kissing other women.

Our guy isn't a fan of that kind of action.  He's repeatedly had to explain this to his wife.  He doesn't find the makeout sessions exciting or attractive.  In fact, he considers them a form of cheating.

Sarah promised to cutback on the drinking and said that she would no longer kiss women while intoxicated.  But two years ago she was back at it.  She had broken her promise with Brooke, the woman who would go on to be her maid of honor.

This caused the husband to have "a complete and total breakdown."  He had to take Sarah to his therapy sessions and couples counseling before she was able to grasp the scope of how badly he was hurt by her actions.

It was then that he laid down some ground rules.   He said, "I told her if it ever happens again, regardless of the circumstances, I was out."

Everything Was On Track Until The Wedding Day And The Bride Had Too Much To Drink

Sarah was able to follow the ground rules until the couple's wedding day.  He said everything was perfect and described it as the happiest day of their lives.  That was until the reception, when both of them had too much to drink.

His wife asked him to grab her some comfortable shoes as they celebrated.  Thinking nothing of it, he went and grabbed her shoes.  When he returned, his wife was on the dance floor with Brooke.

But the bride and her maid of honor weren't just dancing.  He said, "Brooke's tongue down her throat."  Instead of improvising and inviting Brooke to join them later that night, the groom responded by pushing Brooke away and yelling at Sarah.

He then tossed the shoes he had retrieved for his wife aside, and stormed out of the reception with his wife close behind.  This time he doesn't think he can forgive her.

"Since this happened, I canceled our tickets and hotel reservation for our honeymoon, and I am strongly considering divorce," he admitted.

"My lovely wife has gone from begging to crying to name-calling.  She ultimately decided I was a massive jerk for embarrassing her at our wedding and throwing away our relationship over nothing."

Calling It Quits Now Should Be Considered A Blessing For The New Wife

He added, "I think I'm just done this time.  She's hurt me so many times and can't even see what she's doing wrong.  So am I the jerk?"

While he's over seeking advice on Reddit, I've got some advice for his wife.  Leave this guy and don't look back.  If he wants a divorce, give it to him.  He knew what he was getting himself into before you guys said I do.

So you like to have a few drinks and kiss women.  What's the big deal?  If you ask me, this guy loves drama a little too much.  It's kissing women now, but it will be something else later.
