Logan Paul Viciously Defends PRIME Drink Against Chemical Allegations

Logan Paul is defending himself and his Prime Hydration beverage company after a new lawsuit claims that the popular drink contains harmful chemicals.

According to the class-action lawsuit filed in the U.S. District Court in Northern California, Paul's Prime Hydration contains toxic "forever chemicals" that are 3x the limit of what a human should consume in their ENTIRE lifetime. The lawsuit alleges that Prime is "fraudulently marketing" its drink as healthy despite high levels of per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) - both highly toxic chemicals that can lead to disastrous health effects such as cancer, infertility and thyroid issues.

Yikes!

However, Logan Paul - who recently became the WWE United States Champion, isn't going down without a fight. In a brand-new video posted across his social media channels, Paul deconstructs and savagely takes down the lawsuit's main points. Paul's counter video has since gone viral with 3 million views in just a number of hours at the time of writing this article:

LOGAN PAUL RESPONDS IN WILD VIRAL VIDEO

"First off, anyone can sue anyone at any time - that does not make the lawsuit true and in this case, it is not," the 29-year-old YouTube influencer began.

Paul then breaks down each of the claims made in the lawsuit and the chemicals that Prime may or may not contain. First, Paul counters the bottle being contaminated by pulling up receipts of the bottle manufacturing process and says that it's the same ones that Tropicana, Coke, Pepsi and more all us as well and that Prime's supplier is FDA-certified.

Logan then says if the lawsuit is alleging the actual Prime drink is toxic, then that can't be true either because the ‘detection process’ that the lawsuit alleges is faulty, and even if it was true - the numbers are still "at least 66x below the recently established Federal maximum contaminant level."

PRIME SURPASSED $1.2 BILLION IN SALES LAST YEAR

Although the lawsuit goes after Prime as a whole, it mostly focuses on their grape-flavored beverages. The plaintiffs cite scientific studies as well as other lawsuits that prove PFAS chemicals are highly toxic.

Logan Paul then went on the offensive and said that Prime keeps liquid samples of every one of their production samples and challenges the plaintiff to come forward with what one they alleged was dangerous. He then calls out a TIkToker that discussed the lawsuit and demanded an apology within 48 hours or said he was going to sue him for defamation.

Clearly, Logan believes his Prime drink is up to all federal standards and is willing to defend it, not only in a courtroom, but across social media as well. Last year, Paul called out New York Senator Chuck Schumer who alleged that Prime contains harmful levels of caffeine.

Meanwhile, as I reported last week, Gatorade and other sugary drinks are facing possible bans in multiple states because their products actually do contain a harmful ingredient that California has already banned and New York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey may soon follow with legislation of their own.
