Adult Film Legend Lisa Ann Handcuffed, Taken Out Of Matt Rife Comedy Show: VIDEO
Former adult film star Lisa Ann seemed to have a rough Sunday night.
There was a time when Lisa Ann was the most famous adult performer on the planet after playing Sarah Palin in a parody film. She skyrocketed to fame and managed to parlay that into a successful career in sports writing and podcasting.
She's managed to go mainstream, which rarely happens coming out of her industry. While she's enjoyed a lot of success, she definitely didn't have a good time at a Matt Rife show in New York City.
Lisa Ann taken out of Matt Rife show in handcuffs.
The former adult film actress tweeted a video of police taking her out of Radio Music City Hall in handcuffs, and she claims it was all because she pulled her phone out. A source with connections to Radio Music City Hall disputes and denies Lisa Ann pulling her phone out was the reason she ended up in handcuffs.
The source's version of events also appears to be backed up by the police who made contact with Lisa Ann.
"On Sunday, February 4, 2024 at approximately 2203 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a disorderly person at Radio City Music Hall, within the confines of the MTN. A female was acting disorderly and combative after being told not to videotape inside Radio City Music Hall. The female was evaluated by EMS where she did refuse medical attention," the NYPD told OutKick in a statement.
Lisa was eventually cut loose after sitting in handcuffs for 45 minutes and having an ambulance visit. She claimed the police gave her the choice of going to jail or being checked out in an ambulance, again, over the claim it was because she took her phone out - a claim that is now being disputed by police and and the venue.
For those who might not know, having your phone out at a comedy show is a huge no-no. It's not allowed when it comes to big names. I had to have my phone locked up at the last Dave Chappelle show I went to.
However, this situation seems strange all the way around. Lisa Ann claims she was put in handcuffs because of a problem stemming from having her phone out. That claim is now in dispute by multiple people, and the source indicated no such thing would ever occur at Radio Music City Hall.
Having said that, is putting a small woman in handcuffs at a comedy show ever a good idea? What is the reason? What could justify it? There's murders, assaults, homeless issues, drugs all over the place, and the cops are busy putting a former adult film star in handcuffs over some kind of dispute that remains unclear and is being contested.
The internet also had plenty of reactions, and the topic is currently trending on X. Classic internet fun.
I've reached out to Lisa for purely work purposes to get to the bottom of this situation. I'll make sure to update the readers on whatever new information might roll in. Let me know your reactions at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
