Former Adult Film Star Lisa Ann Releases Update After Being Handcuffed At Comedy Show

Lisa Ann released a statement amid dueling narratives about what happened Sunday night at a Matt Rife comedy show.

The retired adult film star went viral after tweeting a video that showed her being hauled out of the show in handcuffs. Lisa Ann, who was once the most famous adult entertainer in the world, claimed she was handcuffed and taken out by cops for simply being on her phone.

A source at the venue told OutKick she wasn't handcuffed for being on her phone, but was instead handcuffed for her alleged behavior after the fact. That version was backed up by the NYPD, who told OutKick, "On Sunday, February 4, 2024 at approximately 2203 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a disorderly person at Radio City Music Hall, within the confines of the MTN. A female was acting disorderly and combative after being told not to videotape inside Radio City Music Hall. The female was evaluated by EMS where she did refuse medical attention."

Now, Lisa Ann appears to be doubling down on the original narrative that it was all over a misunderstanding involving a phone.

Lisa Ann releases statement on incident at Matt Rife show.

It appears that Lisa Ann isn't ready to let this situation die just yet. In fact, she appears committed to her narrative, despite what others might say.

"I'm still pretty shook about last nights [sic] incident at Radio City. I respect and understand security doing their job, yet when I expressed my phone was away in my purse, they will [sic] still insisting I was on my phone. The officers I dealt with took a misunderstanding to the next level and as the woman I am I stood my ground. I'm thankful for the paramedic who interviewed me in the ambulance and ultimately deescalated the situation. I am sore, bruised both physically and emotionally, but I am feeling a lot of love from everyone, so thank you," Ann announced in a statement released Monday night.

She also tweeted a photo showing a moment where the person next to her had their phone out in an attempt to prove she'd done nothing wrong.

"In this photo, I am seated facing the stage with my arm over my chair watching the show. The person on the phone was not me," the "Who's Nailin' Paylin?" star claimed.

The mystery continues.

Looks like we have a good old standoff when it comes to the narrative surrounding how Lisa Ann ended up in handcuffs. She maintains she didn't do anything wrong and didn't violate rules involving phones.

The police and people tied to Music City say that a phone had nothing to do with the situation. NYPD is claiming Lisa Ann was "acting disorderly and combative, being told not to videotape inside Radio City Music Hall."

So, what is the truth? Sounds like the mystery being unraveled might be the plot of a B-film….or perhaps a film in the genre that made Lisa Ann famous.

Hear me out: "True Detective" season five focuses on a retired adult film star hauled out of a comedy show, and nobody knows the facts.

HBO needs to write me a check for a couple million dollars because that's going to be a ratings hit.
