'Star Wars' Series Actor And Creator Brag New Show Is Super Gay

Actress Amandla Stenberg and "The Acolyte" creator Leslye Headland seem interested in going as woke as possible.

"The Acolyte" - a "Star Wars" universe story - premiered on Disney+ Tuesday, and the early previews for the show weren't very inspiring. In fact, I'd argue the previews did more to kill buzz than generate it.

It looks horrible. Well, buckle up because the people involved with it want you to know it's also super gay.

"The Acolyte" is apparently very gay

TheWrap released an interview Tuesday with Headland - who is a lesbian - and Stenberg where the interviewer and the duo rejoiced in how gay the show was, noting it would "be a talking point." It only got more cringe from there.

Stenberg declared "nerds are gay," and Headland openly said with delight that people have told her "it's the gayest 'Star Wars.'"

"I think that 'Star Wars' is so gay already. I mean have you seen the fits. We'd be like, 'Look how gay this is.' And then send each other a reference photo," Stenberg further explained.

At that point, Headland declared C-3PO is gay and R2-D2 "is a lesbian." I wish I was joking, but this is very real. Watch the insane exchange below, and let me know your reactions at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.

Is Disney interested in making sure nobody wants to watch anything the company produces? Long gone are the days of childhood favorites and fun flicks like "Pirates of the Caribbean." Feels like a different lifetime ago when Disney actually made great content.

The company has since gone ulta-woke, a different "Star Wars" director claims she wants to make men uncomfortable and these two are now gleeful about how gay the show is.

Isn't "Star Wars" supposed to be a sci-fi universe meant to entertain kids? Is it really appropriate to push sexuality in a "Star Wars" series on children? Absolutely not.

The original saga wasn't woke at all, and is viewed as one of the greatest achievements in cinema history. Now, we have people from "The Acolyte" claiming characters from the old movies are gay.

Disney needs to get back to its old ways of making movies like "Miracle," "Pirates of the Caribbean," "Remember the Titans" and other content like that. The last thing people need or want is a woke "Star Wars" series. Agree? Disagree? Let me know at David.Hookstead@outkick.com
