LeBron's Son Bryce James Prank Calls Mom Savannah During Podcast
Just in time for Mother's Day, LeBron's son Bryce James pulled one over on his mom Savannah.
Savannah, along with her friend April McDaniel, recently launched a podcast called Everybody's Crazy. And on Tuesday's episode, Bryce made a surprise appearance with a prank call to the show.
The podcast features a segment called "What’s Your Crazy," where listeners tell stories or seek guidance on how to navigate a wild situation in their lives. They started with a call from 17-year-old "Darrell" in Atlanta, who complained about his mother reprimanding him for cursing and showing emotion while playing video games.
"You know, I’m 17-years-old and I’d be playing a video game and I be cussing, screaming, banging a desk, and my mom come in and like, starts yelling at me," he began. "So I just want to know if you think that’s crazy?"
After a "tsk, task" under her breath, Savannah had an answer for him.
"I think it’s crazy because I can hear my sons through the walls as well," she replied. "But, you know, I did this rule with my sons… you know, they play basketball, and I gave them the, ‘you can cuss on the court' rule, but I guess I got to translate that to ‘you can cuss when you on the game, too’ because the obscenities that fly out of their mouths through my closet wall? It’s crazy."
McDaniel added: "I feel like it’s normal. I think kids get excited. My only thing is, in my house, I feel like sometimes someone’s dying. It’s a little extreme. So there’s like, limits to it. So I feel like you could go excitement, six to eight, a 10 is crazy, and sometimes you guys are at a 10. So I think just like, bring it down a little bit."
"Keep it between a six and eight," Savannah interjected.
"To be honest, Mom, I don’t even that’s crazy at all," Bryce replied.
Savannah finally realized who she was talking to.
"Wait?!" she shouted. "Bryce?! What the f-ck?! How do you change your voice like that?"
Bryce is LeBron’s middle child and his youngest son. The 16-year-old currently plays shooting guard for Sierra Canyon High School in Chatsworth, Calif. He will graduate in 2025.
