'Late Night With The Devil' Looks Like A Terrifying Horror Movie: TRAILER
"Late Night With the Devil" looks like an unbelievably sinister horror movie.
I'm not the biggest fan of horror movies, but I'll definitely give one a watch if the trailer grabs my interest. It appears like "Late Night with the Devil" has successfully checked that box.
The plot of the upcoming horror movie is simply described as, "In 1977 a live television broadcast goes horribly wrong, unleashing evil into the nation's living rooms."
While that doesn't offer much, the trailer paints a bit more specific trailer. A TV talk show host attempts to summon the devil during a live broadcast on Halloween night in 1977.
Yeah, spooky to say the least. Downright terrifying, and that trailer indicates that's exactly what kind of story fans are going to get. Give it a watch below, and let me know your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
"Late Night With the Devil" looks absolutely horrifying.
What did you think of the trailer? I think it's the definition of a terrifying preview. It's the kind of preview that keeps viewers awake at night.
If you're going to make a horror movie, you might as well go all the way when it comes to being dark. As I often say, horror films simply can't straddle the line between being super serious or being funny. Very few successfully pull it off.
"Scream" and the "Fear Street" movies come to mind, but they're the exception to the rule - not the norm. It's clear "Late Night With the Devil" is going to be incredibly sinister and serious. Sign us up.
The premise is also a bit funny because we all know people on TV will do just about anything for ratings. If a host thought they could actually summon the devil, it'd be done in a heartbeat if it meant a ratings boost.
That's exactly what appears will happen in "Late Night With the Devil," and I'm guessing the message won't be a positive one!
You can catch "Late Night With the Devil" starting March 22nd. I'll definitely be giving it a shot. Let me know your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
