Lane Kiffin's QB Son Receives Multiple Major Scholarship Offers

Lane Kiffin's son Knox is starting to generate serious recruiting attention.

Knox is a member of the 2028 class, and despite having several more years before he'll be graduating from high school, he's already snagging scholarship offers.

The rising QB freshman at Palos Verdes High School in California recently received offers from SMU and Arkansas State before playing a single snap of prep football.

The Ole Miss coach's son previously received a scholarship offer from DII Mississippi College.

Lane Kiffin's son Knox lands major scholarship offers.

Coaches must see a ton of potential in Knox Kiffin if he's receiving D1 offers before starting high school or throwing a pass in a high school game.

SMU will soon be in the ACC. That's an incredibly impressive offer for a kid that recently graduated eighth grade. Arkansas State is also nothing to sneeze at.

There isn't much known about Knox as far as I can tell. His 247 Sports profile lists him at 5'10" and 170 pounds, which is pretty solid for an incoming high school freshman.

Knox recently attended camp at SMU, and judging from his new offers, he clearly impressed. Add in the fact his dad is an offensive genius, and it's not hard to understand why teams might be interested.

However, Knox still has a lot of time to grow up and enjoy his time in high school. There's no point in adding in unnecessary pressure as more and more offers certainly roll in. Best of luck to him in his recruitment. It should be a lot of fun to watch. Let me know your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
