Landon Donovan's Hair Goes Viral, But He Can Explain

Landon Donovan should open up his own public relations business because he handled his hair going viral on Monday like a professional. 

During Monday's broadcast of the Euro 2024s, U.S. soccer legend Donovan showed up on camera with the back of his head shaved and some weird growth towards the front of his temporal scalp region. (Yes, I had to look up the different areas of the scalp to fulfill my Big J journalist duties.) 

The Internet instantly exploded with 'What's going on with Landon Donovan's hair?' chatter. Is his barber blind? Was he pranked? Was this some sort of hazing incident? 

Everyone hold up. Landon would like to explain what's going on with his hair. 

"Where were you 7 hours ago???" Donovan asked his former L.A. Galaxy teammate Mike Magee, who texted his buddy to see what the hell was going on. 

"Had a hair transplant two weeks ago and was told it wouldn't show up on camera," Donovan explained. 

When Magee asked if he could post this news, Donovan handled it like a pro. 

Post it. Go for it. The damage is done here. The screenshot is forever. 

Simply put, it was bad hair transplant timing. Soon, the 42-year-old will have a full head of lettuce and the world will forget he was ever balding. It's not like you can remember Wayne Rooney when he was balding. 

Wayne now looks like a middle-aged dad who BBQs and drinks too many beers.
