Taylor Sheridan's New Series Gets Huge Update, First Look Released

Taylor Sheridan's new series "Landman" has an official premiere date.

There has been a ton of hype surrounding Sheridan's latest project, and the plot is described as follows:

"Set in the proverbial boomtowns of West Texas, LANDMAN is a modern-day tale of fortune seeking in the world of oil rigs. Based on the notable 11-part podcast ‘Boomtown’ from Imperative Entertainment and Texas Monthly, the series is an upstairs/downstairs story of roughnecks and wildcat billionaires fueling a boom so big, it’s reshaping our climate, our economy and our geopolitics."

Does that get you fired up? Well it should, and fans now know when they'll be able to catch it on their TVs. Paramount+ announced that it will premiere November 17th.

That's exactly one week after the return of "Yellowstone" on the Paramount Network. It's going to be an epic Sunday of NFL action and Sheridan entertainment options.

Taylor Sheridan's "Landman" series will premiere November 17th.

It seems like Sheridan, once again, has a massive hit on his hands. Not only does the plot sound awesome, but the cast is outrageously stacked. Billy Bob Thornton, Jon Hamm, Demi Moore, Andy Garcia, Michael Pena and Ali Larter all have roles on "Landman."

That is a murderer's row of talent for a TV series. It's also further proof Sheridan can attract some huge names, and that shouldn't surprise anyone.

He's the man responsible for the "Yellowstone" universe, "Lioness," "Mayor of Kingstown," "Tulsa King," "Wind River," two "Sicario" films and other major hits.

Now, he's bringing fans a series about the oil industry in Texas. Yeah, you could say I'm excited. Plus, a bunch of photos from the series are now out.
