Kevin Harlan's Daughter Is Demanding Attention In Las Vegas

By far the best NFL broadcaster over at CBS has a daughter who is currently stealing the show – and hearts – ahead of the Super Bowl in Las Vegas.

Nope. Not Jim Nantz. Come on. Definitely not Tony Romo, either. Ian Eagle has a son, so I'm obviously not talking about him.

I'm talking about Olivia Harlan Dekker – the 30-year-old daughter of Kevin Harlan who is currently working her first Big Game (miserable phrase we use all week) for Sky Sports.

Let's be honest, Kevin Harlan is the best broadcaster around

Now, I know everyone is gonna say I'm just blogging about Olivia here because she's hot, and that's fair. Understandable. But that's not the only reason.

I think Kevin Harlan is criminally underrated and deserves more respect. There, I said it.

Now, am I extremely biased because I'm a Dolphins fan and he did like six of our games this year and we won every single one by a billion? Of course.

That being said, there isn't a more electric announcer on the planet right now, with Gus Johnson being the possible exception.

HE'S GOT HILL!!!! is literally burned into my brain at this point:

Just the best.

It's not just the Dolphins broadcasts, though. Kevin Harlan is just the damn man at everything he calls – NFL, NBA, halftime streakers, two games at once, you name it.

Electric City. So much better. Not even close. Not even a race.

Anyway, all that to say Kevin Harlan has an Heir Apparent in Olivia Harlan, who is 30, lives in London with her basketball-playing husband, Sam, and is on the scene in Vegas this week covering her first Super Bowl.

"I’m so excited to cover my first Super Bowl – in my opinion, my dad is the best broadcaster to ever do it," she wrote in an Op-Ed for The Sun earlier this week.

"There’s no way to know if I would’ve found myself here without his influence. I love the industry and the job suits me so much."

Amen.

He swears they were going 200 mph even though they clearly were not.
