Fire Trailer Drops For Kevin Costner's New Western Saga

The trailer is out for Kevin Costner's new Western "Horizon: An American Saga."

The upcoming story will be split into two movies with the first coming June 28 and part two coming August 16. The plot is simply described as, "Chronicles a multi-faceted, 15-year span of pre-and post-Civil War expansion and settlement of the American west."

While that doesn't give viewers a ton of details about what to expect, the trailer for Costner's new project paints a violent and rough picture of what will unfold over the course of the two movies.

Kevin Costner's new Western "Horizon: An American Saga" looks awesome.

Now, I know a lot of people might be bitter about this upcoming series because it played a role in Costner possibly stepping away from "Yellowstone."

His fate on the neo-Western from Taylor Sheridan remains unclear, but as of right now, it seems very unlikely Costner ever appears in another episode.

That might be a tough pill for some people to swallow, but it's simply true.

However, I'm not going to let the "Yellowstone" debacle with Costner impact my opinion on "Horizon: An American Saga." It looks like both movies are going to be awesome.

Costner was made to be a Western star, and it looks like he has another major hit on his hands. Go ahead and inject this right into my soul.

It looks dark, gritty, brutally violent and a ton of fun. Yeah, you don't need to say more. I'll be catching both in theaters once they premiere. Let me know what you think at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
