Famous Rapper Embarrassingly Messes Up Lyrics, Confuses Child Star With Famous Televangelist

Kendrick Lamar made a bit of an embarrassing mishap on his new song "Euphoria."

The star rapper dropped the anti-Drake diss track for fans Tuesday, and it appeared to take a shot at the rival rapper for allegedly using other people to write his lyrics. Kendrick raps, in part, the following:

"Am I battlin' ghost or AI? N**** feelin' like Joel Hale Osteen Funny, he was in a film called "AI" And my sixth sense tellin' me to off him."

You can listen to the song starting around the 5:00 mark to hear the lyrics.

Kendrick Lamar confuses Joel Osteen for Haley Joel Osment.

There's just one big problem. Joel Osteen was never in the movie "The Sixth Sense" or "A.I. Artificial Intelligence." That would be Haley Joel Osment, who shot to fame as a child star in the 1990s.

Joel Osteen is arguably the most famous televangelist in America. The two couldn't be more different. Yet, someone in Kendrick's research department seemingly didn't catch the error.

Naturally, there were plenty of funny reactions online.

It's moments like this one where it's important to remember that it's okay to laugh at funny mistakes. Kendrick Lamar dropped a fire diss track, made one little error and that's all anyone is now talking about when it comes to the song.

I don't blame them because visualizing Joel Osteen in "The Sixth Sense" is a truly hilarious image to have running through my mind.

Better luck next time, Kendrick. Hit me with your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
