Kelly Stafford Worried About 49ers WAGs Given 'Absurd' Super Bowl Suite Prices
The price tag for a suite at Allegiant Stadium during Super Bowl LVIII is completely out of hand. So out of hand, in fact, that even the players' wives are opting to sit in the stands over a luxury box.
On the latest episode of her The Morning After podcast, Kelly Stafford (wife of Los Angeles Rams' quarterback Matthew Stafford) spoke with Claire Kittle about her plans to watch her husband George on Sunday.
Claire said the suite prices were "absurd" and she and her family would not be getting one. Instead, they'll sit in the lower bowl among the rest of the fans.
"Well, at least you are down there. I feel like usually the team tickets suck," Kelly said.
"They do during the regular season," Claire agreed. "We were in the lower bowl for the Miami [Super Bowl]."

Kelly also said she's worried about Claire and other 49ers’ WAGs — like fashion designer Kristin Juszczyk and model Olivia Culpo — since they are so recognizable to NFL fans.
"When those prices hit, I thought about you guys for one," Kelly said. "Because I feel like you guys walk around, people know who you are."
But Claire said her 6-foot-7 brother doubles as a security guard.
The Kittles aren't the only ones passing on a suite — which cost anywhere from $800,000 to $2.5 million. A few weeks ago, Niners star running back Christian McCaffrey's mom Lisa revealed that she couldn't afford a box, either. But McCaffrey's fiancée responded publicly, saying she'd take care of a suite for Lisa's birthday. Unfortunately, Christian swooped in and vetoed that plan.
So it sounds like it's going to be a San Francisco WAG party in the lower bowl!
But don't expect Kansas City Chiefs' wives and girlfriends to do the same. Not a chance Brittany Mahomes and Taylor Swift are going anywhere near the general population.
