Keith Olbermann Deletes Humiliating Tweet

Keith Olbermann's embarrassing tweet about the St. Louis Cardinals is no longer up.

Olbermann went mega-viral after accusing the Cardinals of being Nazis and demanding their stadium be imploded after believing a home run celebration mimicked Donald Trump fist pumping.

There was just one huge problem with Olbermann's claim. Alec Burleson and the rest of the Cardinals weren't honoring Trump's reaction to being shot.

They were pretending to be DJs because Burleson was a rapper/DJ back in the day. Olbermann didn't do his basic homework before demanding the players be banned for life.

Keith Olbermann deletes insane tweet about the St. Louis Cardinals.

Unfortunately for the former ESPN pundit, screenshots are forever, and deleting his tweet doesn't erase the fact it happened.

You can see a screenshot of the now-deleted tweet below, and let me know your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.

This is a great example of why you shouldn't tweet something unless you know it's true. Olbermann thought the Cardinals players were honoring Donald Trump with a celebration.

It wasn't true at all. The celebration was tied to Burleson's music career in his younger years. Instead of doing some basic homework, Olbermann decided to accuse players of being Nazis, demanded they be banned for life and said the team's stadium should be imploded.

Absolutely insane behavior. Unhinged.

Furthermore, why would it have been a problem if they were mimicking Trump's reaction to being shot? It was a badass moment whether you like Trump or not. The man took a bullet to the ear and instead of panicking, he got up and hit people with a fist pump and shouted "Fight!"

It was simply incredible, but Olbermann believes if you do a celebration modeled off the moment that you're a Nazi. His conduct is nothing short of embarrassing and humiliating.

What do you think of Olbermann deleting the tweet and the fact he even sent it to begin with? Let me know at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
