Joy Reid Suggests An Illegal Migrant Raping 13-Year-Old Girl Is Not Worth Covering

American voters consider immigration the "most important problem" the country faces heading into the election, per a Gallup poll. The recent arrest of a migrant for raping a 13-year-old girl in New York further validates those concerns.

And yet, MSNBC host Joy Reid claims coverage of the story is a form of "fear-mongering." Reid and Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) criticized Fox News on Tuesday for mentioning the arrest.

"Let me show you the — this is one of the reasons that people [support mass deportations]. Here’s the three cable networks reporting on this:

"Our banner said, 'Soon Biden announces legal protections for undocumented spouses of citizens.' CNN’s banner said, 'Biden announces new protections for some undocumented spouses.' Here's FOX’s banner: 'Migrant arrested for raping 13-year-old New York City girl.'"

Jayapal responded by laughing at the Fox chyron.

"So I think that’s part of the problem, right, is that you have a lot of fear-mongering," Reid added.

Here are the details of the suspect:

Christian Geovanny Inga-Landi, a 25-year-old from Ecuador, entered the country illegally in 2021 near Eagle Pass, Texas. New York police say he attacked two 13-year-olds, one a boy and one a girl, this month while wielding a machete. He tied them together by the wrists and raped the girl at a popular park in Queens, authorities add.

Apparently, Joy Reid does not consider an illegal migrant entering the country through our senseless border policy and raping a little girl is worth covering. We choose not to begin to surmise what Jayapal found funny about the segment.

Granted, the responses from Reid and Jayapal are more strategic than natural.

They understand the consequences that the heinous crimes of illegals could have on the upcoming election. Voters could and should hold the current administration responsible for the fates of the victims terrorized by migrants, who entered the country as easily as illegally.

Let us not forget Laken Riley, a 22-year-old nursing student whom an illegal immigrant murdered while she was jogging a trail in Georgia between classes.

Laken Riley's face is a symbol, a visual reminder of the threat Biden's America Last border policy imposes upon us:

Rachel Campos-Duffy is the co-host of the "From The Kitchen Table" podcast  "Fox & Friends Weekend." She spoke to OutKick at the time about the impact of illegal immigration and Riley will have on the presidential election:

"Remember the suburban 'security moms' of previous elections? Laken Riley’s brutal, senseless murder by an illegal gang member may very well mark the rise of ‘border moms.’  Being murdered in broad daylight while jogging on a safe college campus signals to moms that none of our daughters are safe in Biden’s America.

"Riley’s death was a wake-up call to American moms - especially for moms with college-aged daughters. It’s terrifying, and we will be thinking about this beautiful future nurse and our own daughters when we enter the voting booth."

The moms will also be thinking about the unthinkable visions of an illegal thug tying up a little girl and raping her, despite Joy Reid's shameful efforts to memory-hole the crime.
