Joy Reid Goes On Racist Rant About Black People And Kamala Harris: VIDEO

Joy Reid unloaded a bizarre rant claiming black people aren't for "the culture" if they don't support Kamala Harris.

The sitting Vice President appears a lock to be the Democrat nominee for POTUS after President Joe Biden decided to leave the race.

Anyone paying attention knew that it wouldn't take long at all for race to be injected into the situation. I actually predicted that's exactly what would happen during a Monday appearance on "The Will Cain Show."

Joy Reid says black people have to vote for Kamala Harris

Fortunately, Joy Reid - who hosts a show on MSNBC - went out of her way to prove me and others correct. If you don't vote for Harris, then you're not down for "the culture" - a slang saying for black people.

"I just got to say it. Given the just stratospheric entrance of Vice President Kamala Harris into the presidential campaign, and she has now secured enough delegates to become the nominee. You're going to look real crazy being on the other side of that line, particularly as a person of color. But really as anyone who claims to have any connection to "the culture." You're going to look real weird and real lonely on that side. The door needs to close behind Amber [Rose], and she looked crazy over there. But shut the door behind her. You're really going to look crazy being on that side given the cultural phenomenon of Vice President Kamala Debby Harris. She's about to make history. She's about to become the first woman President."

She also claimed Republican nominee Donald Trump and his VP pick JD Vance will turn America back into the 1950s - something there's literally not a shred of evidence to support. But as I often say, let's not let facts get in the way of a good story.

You can watch her rambling and strange video below, and let me know what you think at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.

Just so we're crystal clear, this is a textbook example of casual racism, and nobody should be afraid to call it out for what it is. Saying people have to vote a certain way because of their skin color or they're no longer part of the group is the definition of a racist claim.

This is America. People have the freedom to support who they want, and being black doesn't mean you're not allowed to think for yourself. Black people just like every other group of people are free to support any candidate they find themselves agreeing with.

The idea that a race must vote as a block and independent thought isn't allowed or promoted is as anti-American as it gets.

If a black person wants to vote for Kamala Harris, they should be happy to do so. If a black person wants to vote for Donald Trump, they should be happy to do it and not be cast out from the black community as Reid is openly suggesting.

I'm not a fan of Amber Rose by any metric, but the idea she should be shunned for speaking at the RNC and supporting Trump, again, is a textbook example of casual racism.

It's no different than when Biden said "you ain't black" if you support Trump.

Don't give into this kind of racially divisive rhetoric. It's not acceptable, and we shouldn't pretend it is. Let me know at David.Hookstead@outkick.com if you agree.
