Joe Biden Calls Secretary Of Defense 'The Black Man': VIDEO
President Joe Biden appeared to forget the name of Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin.
Biden regularly struggles with coherently delivering a message, and it was on display for the entire country during his debate against Republican nominee Donald Trump.
However, people who regularly watch his interviews and press conferences are very aware of the fact he's turned into a gaffe machine.
He dropped an absolutely doozy when talking about Lloyd Austin.
Joe Biden calls Lloyd Austin 'the black man'
"It’s all about treating people with dignity. For example, look at the heat I’m getting because I named a, uh, the Secretary of Defense, the black man," Biden said during an interview with BET.
He also mentioned Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, but it's, honestly, unclear what he even said or was trying to say about her.

This is a really tough look for Biden in a long line of embarrassing moments. I think he was trying to refer to the fact he's put black people in prominent positions while speaking with BET, and meant to say "a black man" when referring to Austin's race.
Instead, he seemed to forget Austin's name and said "the black man." Now, the video is mega-viral and all over X getting absolutely torched.
Something tells me this is far from the last gaffe we'll see through the election (assuming he remains the candidate, of course). Let me know what you think of this mistake at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
