Porn Star, Oklahoma Superfan Jesse Jane Death Details Released

Porn star Jesse Jane reportedly died due to a drug overdose.

The famous adult film actress and Oklahoma Sooners fanatic was found dead in January of this year during a welfare check at a residence in Moore, Oklahoma. Her boyfriend was also found deceased.

Given the circumstances of the death and the fact she was only 43 years old, one of the popular theories floated was that it might have been drug related.

Well, it appears that was the case.

Jesse Jane reportedly died due to an overdose.

The Oklahoma City Medical Examiner's office determined the popular adult actress died after an accidental overdose of fentanyl and cocaine, according to TMZ.

Fentanyl is the leading cause of death for Americans between the ages of 18 and 45, according to the DEA. The DEA predicted that more than 100,000 Americans died from the drug in 2023.

It's a horrific drug crisis sweeping across America that has cost another life.

People who are my age or older remember Jesse Jane as one of the biggest Oklahoma fans on the planet, as well as being a porn star.

She was a huge part of internet culture back in the day managing to merge popularity with sports fans and adult entertainment. She once told me she had complete and total faith in Lincoln Riley in Norman. That prediction never came true as he cut and ran to USC.

Jesse Jane was also the star of "Pirates" and "Pirates II: Stagnetti's Revenge." At the time, the two films were the most expensive adult entertainment films ever made, playing off the success of "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise. Again, she was a huge part of the online culture - whether cheering for Baker Mayfield and the Sooners or in the content game.

And to be completely clear with everyone, I knew Jesse a bit as a person. We were introduced years ago in what seems like a different lifetime through a mutual friend. I always found her to be super nice, funny and down-to-Earth. She was always eager and quick to help whenever I needed it, and was always more than willing to talk nonstop about Oklahoma and college football. We even once had a very long talk about drugs and the tragedy of overdoses. It's pretty eerie looking back on that conversation - some of which became public - now that she died at the age of 43 from drugs.

Stay away from drugs. It's simply not worth the risk in the current fentanyl crisis. You simply don't know what might be contaminated with a fatal dose. RIP to Jesse Jane, and let me know your thoughts on the entire tragedy and drug crisis at David.Hookstead@outkick.com
