Jennifer Love Hewitt To Star In "I Know What You Did Last Summer," Again

Jennifer Love Hewitt is back on the big screen and is set to return in an upcoming "I Know What You Did Last Summer" movie.

JENNIFER LOVE HEWITT BECAME POPULAR IN THE LATE 90s

Hewitt will reprise her role in the upcoming  I Know What You Did Last Summer film that will have the same title as the original that came out in 1997. JLH will be joined by original castmate Freddie Prinze Jr. as the film will be directed by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, known for her previous work directing the Netflix comedy  Do Revenge.

Anyone who was around in the late 90s understands the buzz and popularity that Jennifer Love Hewitt had. Heck, growing up, my friends and I would all tune in to see her on FOX's "Party of Five" series. Honestly, we had no idea what any of the subject lines truly meant as we were there to see JLH and also her costar Neve Campbell.

Funny enough, Campbell, of course, would star in the first Scream film, while Jennifer Love Hewitt followed shortly after with the first I Know movie. And if that wasn't enough - there are rumors that Scream 7 may be released next year as well, the same as the I Know What You Did Last Summer reboot!

It's 1997 all over again everybody!

Hewitt would go on to star in films such as Can't Hardly Wait and The Tuxedo In recent years before then taking a 10+ year hiatus until 2021. Most recently, the now 45-year-old JLH stars on FOX's weekly "9-1-1" series.

But if we're talking about film comebacks? No better way to get people talking about her again than the film that started it all for her!
