Jenna Berman Back In Her Summer Uniform AKA A Bikini, Emily Elizabeth Checks In & There's A New Miss Alabama
The Mavericks are DOA
The long wait for the NBA Finals to get started was well worth it. If you're a Celtics fan or a fan of blowouts, that is.
The Mavericks never had a chance in this one. Boston was at home, it was the first game since Bill Walton's death, and Jaylen Brown showed up to the arena dressed like the Terminator.
All that adds up to the Mavs having a zero percent chance of stealing Game 1 in Boston. The Celtics came out ready to go and dropped 37 points on Dallas in the first quarter.
The game was over when Brown showed up ready for action. It was really over after the Celtics took a 17 point first quarter lead. Luka Doncic led all scorers with 30, but had little help from the rest of his team.
Kyrie Irving had just 12 points and is reportedly now 0-11 against the Celtics since 2021, but don't worry Mavs fans, he's not sweating the loss.
The Celtics on the other hand, had six guys finish with 10 or more points, including Kristaps Porzingis, who returned after missing 10 games and dropped 20 points off the bench.
Everyone knows a series doesn't begin until a team wins a game on the road, but after a 107-89 Game 1, this series could be over already. Luka might be the best player, but Celtics are the better team.
Game 2 doesn’t take place until next week, which is complete insanity. Good news though, the Stanley Cup Final will get going on Saturday night.
That's something we have to prepare for tomorrow. Right now, it's the first Friday in June, and we've got to hang out at the office, do a tiny bit of work, and sneak out early this afternoon to kick the weekend off.
In other words, let's get Screencaps going and get the ball rolling toward that early exit from the office.
Man of his word
Sports reporter Jeremy Rauch of Fox 19 Cincinnati is a man of his word if nothing else. He's not the best predictor of whether a baseball game will be delayed due to weather or not, but when he says he's going to do something, he does it.
Rauch posted on Saturday night from Wrigley Field, "If they play this game tonight, I will wrap my entire body in Reynolds Wrap for my next live shot."
The baseball gods took him up on his offer. The game was played and on Wednesday night, he followed through by doing his TV hit wrapped in tinfoil. Here it is:
We need more guys like Jeremy Rauch, not less.
Ladies and gentlemen, meet the new Miss Alabama
Now let's go take a look at the world of beauty pageantry where we've got ourselves a new Miss Alabama turning heads in the National American Miss pageant.
I'm not familiar with the National American Miss organization, but judging by the results of the Miss Alabama competition I'm going to guess it's among the lower ranking pageants.
It appears the competition came down to an attractive blonde and a morbidly obese woman. Should have been a very easy choice, but the judges went with the morbidly obese woman because they're obviously a bunch of lunatics.
Just when you start to think that you see some daylight back to sanity, someone tries to tell you that up is down and right is actually left.

Sean Jo,
Excellent job filling in for Kinsey, as usual. Like Joe, I am on vacation this week. I feel like time away from work is the only time I write in. I wanted to fill your request and stay "on brand" with Kinsey, so here it goes.
MEAT
We’re at the beach and there’s an old Weber charcoal grill. I found some charcoal by the hot water tank/air handler. I didn’t get a picture of the burgers, but we did a hotdog/brat night, too. The family loved the flavor and I will be getting the old charcoal grill out when we get home. (The wife insisted on using foil so we didn’t get tetanus.)
DO HARD THINGS
Living in East Tennessee makes it easy to do hard things with your son. (Backpacking the AT, biking the Virginia Creeper, fly fishing for Brook trout) I have a 10 year old daughter who likes cheer and dance- not my wheelhouse. She also has a sweet tooth. She looked at a map and found a donut shop 3.0 miles from our beach house. This year we brought bikes instead of getting a golf cart. (Possible subtle hint from the wife) I suggested my daughter and I ride our bikes to get donuts. She was on board and we had a nice daddy/daughter donut run. She liked it so much that she found a gift shop to ride to as well. It turned out to be a CBD shop. Oh well.
TIPPING
Hell no I didn’t tip for donuts. We rode 3 miles, told the lady what flavors to put in the box, paid, rode 3 miles home and ate them. Who am I tipping, and for what?
MOWING
The doodle was quite perplexed by a guy mowing with an electric mower on a Monday?! My wife assured me that the guy was retired, living at the beach and had no idea what day of the week it was.
SCENERY
I’ll leave you with some juxtaposition.
SeanJo:
Thanks for the support Chris. I love a good charcoal grill. I can't tell you the last time I fired one up, but you've got me considering picking one up after this endorsement.
As far as the guy mowing the grass on a Monday, I'm with your wife. He's a retired guy living at the beach, there's no chance he knows what day it is. Hell, he might not even know what year it is. There's no excuse for the electric mower.
Enjoy the rest of your vacation. Emerald Isle is awesome.

Sean,
Let’s try again…
Thanks from the shadow of Pikes Peak
SeanJo:
Mark had originally sent in some grilling content that appeared yesterday, but the email ate his image, and it didn't come across. He didn't let a glitch in technology slow him down. He put his head down and smashed straight through it.
That's the dedication you need for a solid grilling season.
Here's a recap: I use a vintage (25 yr old) Weber Gold Series with a natural gas hook up. A fan favorite at our house is hand cut, double thick pork chops with a Hatch green chili finish. They go very well with a baked potato, fresh salad and a TNML post-mow beer.
Well worth the wait. These look great.

Sean,
If Joe is Cap #1, you my friend are Cap #1A. Not a #2. Today's Screencaps ladies might possibly be the hottest, most smokin group of babes that has ever been assembled.
I have included an Instagram link for the Dale Earnhardt tribute for Fridays Screening. Keep up the outstanding work.
SeanJo:
I try my best to deliver a solid Screencaps each and every time out. Some are better than others and apparently yesterday was one of those days when everything I put up fell.
This is why I spend the countless hours in the gym working on my game. Thanks for the love.

Sean!
First time emailing you, but have been reading for some time. In the immortal words of "that one meme": it ain’t much but it’s honest work! Not much better than a fresh cut lawn and meat on the grill. Have a great Thursday evening!
SeanJo:
It's quality over quantity for me. I love seeing the elaborate setups people have, but I'm rolling with a simple one myself and respect the hell out of them.
Your "fresh cut lawn and meat on the grill" line is pure America. Keep the emails coming. I know you're going to be putting in work on this grill this summer.
Garden question

Over night this thing popped up in my garden...WTF is this?. If u could put this out to screencaps nation be much appreciated. Great job filling in for Joe (your chicks are better!) ...and yes I sprayed it with bug spray. RI area, tks
SeanJo:
I got you Jim. I don't have a clue what that is, but it's up and the Screencaps community can weigh in.
Let's hope someone can identify it.
Jerk chicken wings. Trying a new seasoning. It's good straight but I'll try with sauce too. Cheers buddy!

Wings on the grill are amazing. I feel like they get overlooked a lot of the time when you think about throwing some meat on the grill, but they shouldn’t. These wings look great.
Thanks for sending these over Homebrew Bill. Keep the grill content coming.
What a week. Friday is here. It's been awesome getting the grilling season content going this week. Let's keep it going. There's just two more days of the eight straight left.
Don't work too hard today. As always, the inbox is open. Send me what you've got cooking on your grill this week and whatever else you want to sean.joseph@outkick.com.
