Jason Sudeikis Ribs Travis Kelce To 'Make An Honest Woman' Out Of Taylor Swift

Even at a charity event, Travis Kelce can't get away from people talking about his girlfriend. And now Jason Sudeikis is joining the chorus.

Kelce and Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes took the stage at Big Slick Celebrity Weekend on Saturday. Big Slick is a poker tournament and comedy show — founded by Sudeikis, Rob Riggle and Paul Rudd — with the goal of raising as much money as possible for Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City.

And during this year's event, the guys re-created an old Saturday Night Live skit best known as "Da Bears" — but with a KC twist. Cheers star George Wendt revived his old role as Bob Swerski and was joined by Sudeikis in an homage to Chris Farley’s Todd O’Connor. Kelce and Mahomes joined in, too.

During the skit, the actors poked fun at the Chiefs by discussing Harrison Butker's controversial commencement speech and even the team's failed efforts at securing funding for a new stadium.

"Happy Pride Month," Wendt said. "Or as your kicker calls it, ‘June.’"

Noting the Chiefs’ current facilities debacle, Sudeikis joked, "Real KC fans would pick up a side hustle to help out like that ChiefsAholic guy" — referencing a KC super fan who pleaded guilty to a series of bank robberies.

Then, Sudeikis, well known for his role as a soccer coach in the Apple TV+ show Ted Lasso, continued: "If you don’t step up as fans, the Chiefs could leave. And then what have you got? That Sporting KC soccer team. Soccer. Soccer. … Is there anything more boring than watching a soccer game?

"Maybe you could say watching that dumb TV show about it."

And that's when it dawned on him: You know who has enough money to build a whole NFL stadium? Taylor Swift. But Kelce shot down that idea pretty quickly, telling the actor and comedian to "pipe down" because it's not happening.

"Hey Travis, real talk OK, just the guys here… When are you going to make an honest woman out of her?" Sudeikis began, as the crowd cheered. "Taylor doesn’t need to be working anymore. … Your kicker agrees with me."

After Kelce playfully said, "you’re really pushing it," Wendt didn't miss a beat, chiming in, "Look who’s losing it just like he did in the Super Bowl!"

But the teasing was all in fun and for a good cause. This weekend's event raised a whopping $3,973,637 for Children's Mercy, and the Big Slick total now sits at $25,002,638 over its 15-year run.
