The internet had itself a night making fun of J.J. Watt's appearance for the Super Bowl.

Watt was part of the CBS broadcast team for Super Bowl LVIII between the Chiefs and 49ers, and he surprised people with an unexpected hairstyle.

What does the internet do best? The answer to that is easy. Drag people in brutal and ruthless fashion. Unfortunately for Watt, he found himself in the spotlight Sunday night and the reactions to his hair are absolutely awesome.

To Watt's credit, he took it all in stride and leaned into the viral reaction to his unexpected hair. He fired up X and cracked a joke about himself.

It was the perfect kind of response. Never take yourself too seriously because it's almost never worth it.

If you're going to put a new haircut or style on display, the Super Bowl might not be the best idea. Take a few practice runs elsewhere first.

Get a sense of the feedback before introducing it to the largest TV audience of the year. If you don't, you might end up getting roasted in hilarious fashion like Watt did Sunday night.
