Instagram Star & Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Rookie Penny Lane Spotted With Actor Gerard Butler

Prior to entering Sports Illustrated Swimsuit's Swim Search, Penny Lane was a rising star.  She was making a name for herself with repeat appearances on OutKick's own Screencaps - the best column on the internet - and earning accolades like "certified Instagram breakout star." 

The talent was obvious. It was really only a matter of whether she was going to be able to capitalize on that talent or be one of the many who have failed over the years to take that next step and separate themselves from the rest of the talent on Instagram.

Penny has managed to separate herself and has done much more than that. The 29-year-old was named a Swim Search co-winner last year, she appeared in SI Swimsuit's 60th anniversary issue as a rookie just a few weeks ago, and has now been spotted out with a big-name actor.

The Sun has acquired pictures of Penny Lane and 54-year-old actor Gerard Butler strolling through and hanging out together in London's Primrose Hill.  The two appear to be enjoying each other's company.

Is There Anything To Penny Lane And Gerard Butler Being Spotted Together?

Is this anything more than simply an actor and model talking about business?  Time will tell on that. The British tabloid seems to think there's more than business in the works between Penny and Butler.

They took a look back at his long-term roller coaster of a relationship with interior designer Morgan Brown which reportedly came to an end in 2020.  As well as his list of exes, which includes actresses Jennifer Aniston, Jessica Biel and Naomi Campbell.

They pointed out that Butler appears to be single. They also made sure to point out the 25-year age gap between the actor and the model.

Call me old school or simply a romantic with a big heart if you must, but a 25-year age gap seems about right for an actor of Butler's stature. He's still working, and who could forget his performance as King Leonidas in 300?

Not this guy. I'm rooting for both actor Gerard Butler and Instagram star Penny Lane.
