Instagram Model Who Sold Bathwater To Thirsty Gamers Has Made Millions Since Transitioning To Adult Content
The path to influencer greatness isn't the same for everyone. Depending on which fork in the road you take, you're almost guaranteed that not everyone is going to approve of some aspects of what you produce.
Belle Delphine got her start in the world of influencing as a cosplay Instagram model several years ago. One thing led to another, and it wasn't long before she went from the gamer girl who sold her bathwater to thirsty gamers to making content on OnlyFans.
The 24-year-old's journey from cosplayer to adult star has been a successful one. It's given her millions of social media followers and put millions in her bank account. She was even able to buy her dream home with her earnings.
Despite all of her success, Delphine wasn't able to please everyone. Her father, who was in the dark early on about her online activities, no longer talks to her after uncovering what she does for a living.
The South African born content creator, who calls the UK home, appeared on the latest episode of The Louis Theroux Podcast to discuss everything from her Gamer Girl Bathwater to her insane monthly earnings on OnlyFans.
Selling Gamer Girl Bathwater Was Just The Start For Belle Delphine
"I didn't think anything of it. My plan wasn't to become big or popular or anything like that," Delphine said of her move to more adult content. "I just wanted enough money to move out of my mum's place."
She's been able to do that and much more. Her first successful money-making venture came back in 2019 when she sold her bathwater for roughly $30 a jar.
It was an idea that Delphine said she got the inspiration for from the "used panty" machines she read about in Japan. Her jars flew off the shelves, and she sold out of her gamer girl bathwater in just two days.
That was just the beginning of things to come. She's now making more than $1 million a month. The first video she put out, while awkward, raked in more than $5 million and paid for her 8-bedroom dream home.
The lesson here, I guess, is to follow your dreams. Whether those dreams have you selling bathwater in jars or making content for paid subscribers. It could cost you a relationship or two along the way, but a $1 million a month isn't a bad consolation prize.
