New 'House Of The Dragon' Episode Preview Promises Carnage After Shocking Cliffhanger

The upcoming episode of "House of the Dragon" looks like it's going to be electric.

See that big beautiful spoiler warning? Yeah, I'm breaking my standard practice of no spoilers. I kind of have to in this case.

Episode four of "House of the Dragon" ended with the death of Princess Rhaenys Targaryen and her dragon, and Aegon's fate remains unknown after his owner brother - Aemond - attacked him during the battle.

Is Aegon dead and the Hightower side of the war in free fall or did he survive? As of right now, we don't know. All we know for sure is that all hell has broken loose after arguably the best episode in the history of "HoD."

HBO drops preview for new "House of the Dragon" episode.

Well, the preview is out for episode five of the hit "Game of Thrones" prequel series, and it looks absolutely epic.

Give it a watch below, and hit me with your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.

Seriously, how legit does episode five look? Sunday can't get here fast enough. Nothing gets people talking like an electric cliffhanger, and that's exactly what fans were treated to Sunday night.

If I had to guess, Aegon is still alive, but the betrayal from Aemond to attempt to assassinate him is something that might fracture their side of the war beyond repair.

The storylines are more interesting if Aegon is wounded but alive, in my humble opinion.

We'll find out Sunday night on HBO. Hit me with your predictions at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
