Hero Teen Jumps On Runaway Boat To Save The Day In Unreal Video
A heroic teen stopped a runaway boat, and the video footage is incredible.
A boat was out of control on Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire after a different boat tipped, its mast hit the throttle of the runaway boat and threw the driver off, according to WMUR.
Video shows the boat was flying in circles around the lake near people and was an immediate danger. That's when Brady Procon, 17, and his dad Jeremy jumped into action.
Teenager stops runaway boat.
Jeremy and Brady hopped on a jetski and performed an action that looked like it was out of a Michael Bay film. Jeremy steered the jetski near the boat, got in-sync with its turning and that's when Brady jumped from the jetski to the boat to get it back under control.
Check out the awesome footage in the news report below, and hit me with your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
This is what's called having guts of steel, and you simply love to see it. This might not be commando-level stuff, but it's really cool to see from a 17-year-old kid and his dad.
If they'd mis-timed the jump at all, Brady could have found himself under the boat. They also could have gotten the jetski crushed by the boat if they timing was anything less than perfect.
Fortunately, that didn't happen. Brady had ice in his veins, made the jump and got the boat under control. I would say buy him a beer, but he's just a kid. So, get him an ice cold Coke or whatever it is that young people drink these days.
He certainly earned it.
Props to Brady and his dad for their quick thinking that at a minimum saved some damage. Let me know what you think at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
