Hawk Tuah Craze Hits Jersey Shore T-Shirt Shops

Forget the millions of views on her now infamous viral video, or the $10,000+ appearance fees, or the possible reality show based on whatever her life entails, you know Hawk Tuah has finally made it when she is featured on the Jersey Shore boardwalk.

Yes, the great Seaside Heights, New Jersey - home of other role models like MTV's Jersey Shore Snooki, Pauly D and Mike ‘The Situation’ has fully embraced Hawk Tuah, whose real name is Hailey Welch. All this after she NSFW suggestively demonstrated with hand motions and even sound effects how she would literally "Hawk Tuahhh on that thang."

IT'S THE SUMMER OF HAWK TUAH

Walking up and down the famous 2-mile long boardwalk that has been proudly asking ‘How ya’ doing?!' since its construction in 1915, I immediately noticed that this year's hot summer item was Hawk Tuah t-shirts, sweatshirts, bootie shorts - you name it, as stores are hoping people Hawk-ovah their cash. 

Yes, among the "Save Water, Drink Beer" and the "Free Breathalyzer Test - Blow Here" with a suggestive arrow pointing where in fact to pass the test, and of course the "I <3 HOT ITALIANS" Hawk Tuah has been enshrined into Jersey boardwalk legacy.

"If she don't Hawk Tuah, I don't wanna Talk Tuah!" was a big hit at one of the merchandise stands.

Meanwhile, another shop near everyone's favorite Frog Bop game (where I proudly launched one of my 9 frogs for $10 on the Lily Pad and won a Squishable whale stuffed animal) went with the more traditional Hawk Tuah shirt outlined in a Sopranos Bada-Bing-esque silouette. 

Never change, Jersey Shore… Never change.
