The Return Of One Of TV's Best Shows Is Shrouded In Mystery

When will "From" season three finally be released?

The MGM+ horror/thriller starring "Lost" alum Harold Perrineau has been a criminally underrated hit since its 2022 premiere. The series follows a small town where people get trapped and seemingly can't ever leave. Oh, there's also these creatures who appear to be human and come out at night to hunt and slaughter.

It's an incredibly freaky, fun, sinister, mysterious and highly-engaging series. Season two wrapped up June 2023, and there's been virtually no new information released.

When will the new season of "From" come out?

For reasons that don't seem entirely clear, MGM+ has gone out of its way to make sure nobody knows what is going on.

Generally speaking, there would be at least a drip of some kind of information. There's nothing like that at all. In fact, there's only two clues as to when new episodes might drop.

The first came from Perrineau back in late December when he announced the show had started filming its third season.

Based on that timeline, a release date for season three would seem to likely come at some point this summer. Three to four months of production followed by a couple months of post-production and promotion.

However, it turns out there might be a Taylor Swift angle here. Yes, that sounds weird, but it's true. The show quote tweeted Swift's album release date of April 19 with a picture of a talisman.

Did the show hint at its release date with a T-Swift quote tweet? Take a look at the tweet below, and decide for yourself what you think.

I truly don't understand what's going on or why there's been so much secrecy surrounding season three. There's more updates up the Netflix hit, and that show is protected like America's nuclear secrets.

"From" blew up last year with the release of season two, and people are craving updates. Unfortunately, the secrecy and security are just too good, but I'm really dialed in on the quote tweet of Swift.

What the hell does that even mean?

Season two did premiere in April 2023. It wouldn't be out of the norm for another season to drop in April, but what's the point of simply hinting at it with a Swift QT? The honest answer is that I have no clue. What I will say is that you should give "From" a shot if you haven't already watched. It's a hit with a couple of us here at OutKick, and it's definitely one of the most fascinating shows on TV. It has serious "Lost" vibes when it comes to the broad mystery, but it's definitely not for people with weak stomachs. Are you already watching? Let me know at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
