Former Jewelry Thief Turned Influencer Says Being Too Hot For Prison Isn't All Its Cracked Up To Be

The "I'm too pretty for jail" line has been tried multiple times with absolutely no success.  Officers don't fall for it, and it's not a miracle get out of jail free card.  It doesn't work.

What happens when your trip to jail turns into a lengthy prison stay and you're pretty?  Well, that's when the cost of "pretty privilege" behind bars is really felt.

Former jewelry thief turned social media influencer - what a time to be alive - Jennifer Gomez knows all about it.  She spent 10 years behind bars living the life of a hot inmate.

Now that she's on the outside, she's jumping on TikTok to share the struggles of being pretty and being locked up.  Sure, being pretty in prison has its perks.

Jennifer explains how she was able to have her prison uniform altered to be more fitting to her feminine figure.  She said, "I was going to be in there for 10 years, so I wanted to feel like a girl."

But having your uniform altered and all the other privileges afforded to her by her looks comes at a price.  It makes it much easier to make enemies.

"You could literally gain a hater instantly, just because they are jealous of how you look," Jennifer explained.

Doing Time Isn't Easy When You're Forced To Deal With Prison Style Pretty Privilege

They don’t even have to know you to turn into your enemy.  Walking around flaunting your attractiveness in the prison yard makes others jealous.

She continued, "And people that are jealous and angry, they might try to cut you in the face, they might try to beat you with a lock.  It can bring people your way that you might not want your way."

Jennifer reportedly found herself locked up for climbing into people's homes and stealing millions of dollars worth of jewelry.  She would then melt the jewelry down into gold bars, and sell the bars to dealers.

She was caught when police investigated the shop where she was getting the gold melted down.

Her time behind bars would have been easier to serve if she wasn’t so good-looking, but life after prison probably
