Former Engineer Quit Her Job To Pursue Hula-Hooping With Her Butt & Boobs Full-Time

Andrea M., known as hulamyhoop on multiple social media platforms, didn't let a career as an engineer get in the way of her true passion.  She quit her job to pursue the sport of hula-hoop full-time.

Her life changed five years ago when she first picked up one of the plastic tubes.  She was hooked on it and, since leaving her career behind, has broken 10 hula-hoop related Guinness World Records.

Andrea picked up her 10th certificate earlier this month.  Her run at world records started back in late 2020, and she has her sights set on adding to her collection.

Records aren't all she's after.  She's out to change the world of hula-hooping, and she has done so with her work in butt and boob hooping.  What is butt and boob hooping you ask?

Well, it's exactly what it sounds like.  It's using one's butt and/or boobs to hula-hoop.  It's taken years of practice, but the London native has turned these skills into viral content on social media.

If you're thinking that she's used her talents in butt and boob hooping to rack up those world records, you'd be wrong.  Not all of Andrea's accolades have come for breaking butt-hooping records.

But it is her butt-hooping work that has gone viral and landed her interviews.

She told The Sun about how she got into the sport, "It was by chance, I was not sporty, but five years ago I picked up a hula-hoop, and it changed my life.  I have broken 10 Guinness World Records so far.  I am training for several more."

Andrea has become addicted to the challenge of pushing herself.  It's that passion and that addiction to hula-hooping that are ultimately what led her to quit her job.

She wasn't a greeter at Walmart - no offense to the fine greeters out there - with not much to lose by doing so either.  She has a PhD in engineering and left a job at a university for this.

Her only option was greatness.

I'd argue, even without the records she has broken, that Andrea has achieved greatness with her fine work in butt and boob hooping, but I'm just an outsider looking in on the sport here.
