Former Cop Turned Model Arrested For Allegedly Extorting Thousands From A Small Cosmetology Business

A former police officer who has since taken her talents to hairdressing and Instagram modeling was one of two women arrested recently for allegedly extorting $9,000 from her employer.

According to Orange County, New York District Attorney David M. Hoovler, 32-year-old Ally Thueson and 33-year-old Elizabeth Sloanhoffer were arrested and charged with third degree grand larceny and third degree coercion.

The two are accused of extorting Thueson's employer out of thousands by threatening to make false statements on the internet which would materially harm the victim’s business.

Thueson retired from law enforcement in 2021 after spending eight and a half years in the profession.  She also participated in a contest for a shot at becoming a MAXIM cover model in 2022.

During an appearance on The Off Duty Podcast with host Anthony McNeil, it was revealed that she made it to at least the second-round of the contest.

Thueson is a former deputy for the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, reports News 12.  Following her stint there, she worked as a police officer in the Town of Woodbury, where she was working when Woodbury Police Chief Kevin Watson says she resigned in 2021.

The Former Cop Turned Instagram Model Made A Rookie Mistake

In addition to the threats to slander the small cosmetology business on the internet, the two, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, also threatened to report fictitious violations to the New York State Board of Cosmetology and file false complaints with the Department of Labor for alleged employee violations against a business.

The duo were charged with their crimes by the Orange County White Collar Crime Task Force and were released after receiving appearance tickets.

Thueson appears to have disabled her Instagram account.  Which is a mistake for any up-and-coming Instagram models out there.  News like this is good for the follower count and so is winding up on the Mugshawtys social media pages.

If you don't want everyone having access to your feed right away, then you go private, ride the headlines for a sometimes massive bump in followers, then flip the switch back to public once the heat dies down.
